History of the Club's Awards

The perpetual trophies were struck in 1996.
The tackling trophies are mounted with plates that give a history of the person after whom the trophy is named. They were the only awards given by the Club after 1995 and were instigated by Howard Clay.
The Coaches awards were struck in 1996 and are awarded by the coach of each team for whatever criteria they decide.
Most Improved and Best Junior Clubman were stuck in 1997.
The Scholarships were stated by Ian Walker or maybe by Howard Clay?  These awards go to under 12 and under 14 players so the junior club can benefit from them as they move up. They are named after the two most deserving of juniors supporters.
