Proposed Amalgmations

Collegians and North Adelaide Rugby Club were planning to combine during World War II. However, the competition ceased from 1941 and the combination was not consummated.  After the war, the club was reformed.

"The Secretary notified the Committee that the sub-committee on District Football (S.A.R.U.) had proposed amalgamation of O.C. with Burnside.  It was decided after discussion to meet the said Sub Committee for further talks on this matter".  This probably shouldn't have been taken too seriously as the next item on Minutes was an agreement to support the Rugby Union Queen competition.
