Adam Wheeler was a Collegians Club supporter and despite a long interest in Rugby never played for Collegians. However, Adam played at school, in the Army, for Milton Keynes in England and for the Zurich Lions. There are 5 rugby teams in Switzerland,
Zurich, Bern, Geneve, Lausanne and Lugano. Adam is the Zurich Lions' treasurer. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam, moved to England and finally settled in Germany and Switzerland. His daughter Alison is a keen Wallabies fan. His son David plays for the Zurich Lions. Adam still talks about Old Collegians when he is at the Lions games. A touch of club history in Switzerland.
